RF RF Online RFO Philippines



Level-Up! Games is the publisher of RF Online Philippines. RFO Philippines was released in November 2005, and had both alpha and beta testing stages that lasted for 3 weeks prior to the official launch. RF Online Philippines has 2 commercial servers, namely Altrax and Nexus, as well as a test server called Omicron. After 11 months, RF Online Philippines is still a hit and even attracts more online gamers and new blood to the MMORPG world.

I. New Map - Elan Plateau

• New map with new monsters and quests will be made available come GIGA FINAL.


II. Modified Map – New Volcanic Cauldron

• Only Lv. 40+ players may enter Cauldron via NPC

• New Monster: Infernal Drake

• New Monster: Heavy Squad

• Pitboss Belphegor returns

• Increased Monster levels ( Lv.48 ~ Lv. 57)

• Increased Exp and PT gains


III. Combination System

• Item Combination can be done at the Hero NPC.

• Item combination requires Excelsior items and gold/silver catalysts.

• Complete Excelsiors can be acquired from Cauldron monsters and PBs monsters, with Excelsior parts being acquired from other monsters.

• Gold and silver catalysts are available from the Sundries NPC.

• Combining can create Class C weapons and high level force reavers.

• Only lvl 30 – 45 weapon items can be combined.

• Lvl 50 weapons, shields, armor or accessories cannot be combined.

• As with upgrading there is a chance of failure.

• The excelsior and weapon materials have a random chance of being destroyed.

• Any talics on the weapons will be lost, no matter whether combination is successful or not.


IV. Booty conversion system

• Booty Conversion can be done at the Hero NPC

• High level booty can now be broken down into lower level booty using a new hammer item available form the Sundries NPC

• A random number of lower level booty will be generated based on the number of high-level booty being converted. Up to 10 in total can be converted in one go.

V. Unmanned Mining

• These new tools can be set up like turrets to mine in the Crag Mines; allowing the player to mine while doing other tasks (ex. PT training, leveling, farming, etc.).

• Players must set up new ore storage facilities at the Ore refiner NPC. Charge is 250g and will give you 40 slots.



• There are 3 kinds of UMT:

- Light UMT: Usable at Lv. 25, costs 300,000 and has 50,000 HP

- Normal UMT: Usable at Lv. 35, costs 1,000,000 and has 150,000 HP

- Advanced UMT: Usable at Lv. 45, costs 2,000,000 and has 300,000 HP



• Batteries:

- Small Battery = 1hr 30 minutes mining time and costs 30,000

- Regular Battery = 3hrs mining time and costs 60,000



• Conditions of use:

- The UMT must have a battery (can hold up to 2).

- The UMT mines at a slightly slower rate than the normal mining tool.

- The UMT and normal mining tool can’t be used at the same time. Ore from the UMT will be transferred directly to the Ore storage.

- The UMT has endurance and HP, and if players or the HSK attacks it, an icon will flash on the players screen informing them of the UMT taking damage.


VI. Guild Battle / Circle Zone Scramble

• Guild Registration

- Must be 2nd grade guild or higher

- Minimum of 10 to a maximum of 50 players. (Must be increments of 10)

- To begin a guild must first initiate a challenge to the guild it wishes to fight

- Once challenge is accepted and members vote to participate, the fight will be set for the next day.

- When the challenge is accepted and the date reserved 5,000 gold will be charged for Guild Scramble (taken from guild funds)

- 5 minutes before the battle, Guild members will receive a message about participating in the battle. Guild members who choose to participate will be warped to the Guild Battle Map.


• Guild Battle Rules

- 30 min. Battle Duration

- Touchdown with Gravity Stone to score points

- Character with Gravity Stone gets the ff:

- No Potions except for HP potions

- HP Potion delay set to 3.5 sec.

- Cannot buff/debuff Gravity Stone bearer

- Cannot ride MAU / BMAU or summon Animus

- All buffs vanish once Gravity Stone is acquired

- Increased resistance to stun

- 2min. touchdown limit, otherwise Gravity Stone respawns

- Movement Speed reduced



• Rewards

- Winning Guild gets 10,000 gold (goes to guild funds)

- Winning Guild gets Guild Contribution Points (Guild CPt)

- All participants get 1 Witness of Warrior item

- Guild Ranking refreshes every week


VII. Neutral Zone Control

• Neutral Zone Control

- Acquired by top 2 Guilds per race (check Guild Ranking; guilds ranked by guild honor)

- Guild Honor PT is total of member CPts, and guild CPt

- Guild Ranking can be viewed at Guild Manager NPC

• UTS Control

- Allows the guild to set UTS tax rate. Tax rate refreshes daily. All items bought via UTS are taxed. Money acquired through UTS taxes immediately go to guild funds.


• Large UMT

- Mines +4 Ores at Neutral Zones.

- Large UMT+ 2x faster than Large UMT


VIII. Archon Voting

• Archons and councilmen are now voted into power instead of being assigned by racial ranking.



• Application

- Must be in the top 30 of their racial ranking, or a previous member of the council

- Must pay 10,000,000 cash to register. Previous archons may re-apply for free.

- Registration period is Sunday 6:00 - 19:00


• Voting Process

- All Lv. 30+ characters can vote

- Voting period is every Sunday 20:00 - 22:00


• Winners

- Winners become Archon/Council for 1 week

- Archon acquires special gift box


IX. New Items
